Christmas Wish List D+14
Just to explain: I wrote this article a lonnnng time before Xmas (I swear this is true). But I forgot to post it because ... because. I cannot find any excuse, I'm just not good at blogging everyday. (I'll try to improve myself on this, it's part of my resolutions for 2014 ... )
PS: Oh! I know! I know why I never posted this article: Snow! This is all because of the snow! See, we're on January 8th and it still hasn't snowed here this winter!
1 Maddie the Coonhound A super serious project about a dog and a motorcycle 2 Chanel Chance Eau de parfum 3 LNandes scarf 4 Yves Saint Laurent Baby Doll mascara 5 Margaux Motin La tectonique des plaques
+ The XX vinyls
I was offered Margaux Motin's book by Jona. Well it wasn't a Xmas gift, but a New Year gift (which I think is actually even better)! I already read it. Damn it was the perfect book at this right moment of my life. Things change and it's the way it is, it's like plate tectonic.
Speaking of changes, there is this new fragrance Chanel N ° 5 Eau Première. I haven't smelled it yet, but this 2.0 version of the myth intrigues me.
Oh and I did not get a LNandes scarf for Xmas, but one from Filles a Papa (offered by me). Me being a great collector of this brand and my dad, soccer fan, collecting scarves, this one in hooligan style was perfect to me. (Have you noticed all of the meanings in one single stuff ... )
+ I've also been offered (still by myself) a new coat at Comptoir des Cotonniers.
Did you get nice Xmas gifts?

Halloween
Pumpkins everywhere, amazing decorations creating a spooky atmosphere, colored leaves lying on the ground, kids "trick or treating" at each house of the street. We do not have all of this. Well, yes, we do have the leaves! But it is almost the only Halloween bite. The truth is we do not really celebrate Halloween here in Belgium. Some doors get fake pumpkins or whatever relates to autumn for the occasion. I must admit quite a lot of Halloween crap appeared on stores' displays. Anything you need to waste your money. And parties of course, "Free potion for costumed ones!", they say... But we do not live it the American way! Anyway, I've seen so many #halloween and #pumpkin on my US friends Instagram that a few ideas popped up in my mind...
1 Homemade pumpkin soup. I suddenly remember the sunflower seeds rolls that I used to buy at the bakery next door, in my former apartment. (Me being sad...) Would perfectly fit! 2 Pumpkin spice M&M's. Unfortunately you can't find these in Belgium. (Me being sad again...) I mean, seriously, we only have tree different kinds of it. Not fair. 3 A pumpkin bucket. To put my treats in. No, it's not just for kids. 4 These monster slippers. 5 No light, but this pumpkin garland hanging from the ceiling. Booh! 6 A comfy outfit made of this skeleton sweater and American Apparel winter leggings. Just stay home. 7 Sipping pumpkin spice latte or PSL, for the regulars ;) 8 Wathcing non-scary Halloween films, such as Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit 9 The Addams Family, or 10 Beetlejuice 11 Just so you know, I would also highly enjoy a stay in Disneyland Paris during this Halloween time of the year. Okay i've allready gone exactly two years ago. But... Disney!
Plus: I also (home)made Halloween biscuits. With an orange icing and black stars on it. Yummmm. Take a look if you dare!
Have a creepy Halloween!
